Weekly Photo Challenge | Juxtaposition

This week’s photo challenge is juxtaposition, defined as “the act of placing things side by side, especially for the purpose of comparison or contrast.” I always think of juxtaposition as having a touch of irony, which sets it apart semantically from “comparison.” Living in the desert, I felt like this fit the bill as it’s not the normal flora and fauna you’d expect to see near a large body of water (smile).
