Weekly Photo Challenge: Intricate Doorways

Rio de Janeiro Brazil doorway

Phnom Penh Cambodia, palace doorway

Doors, ceilings, windows, floors – it never ceases to amaze me how details can turn these architectural pieces into works of art. For this week’s photo challenge “intricate” I immediately thought of these photos. I found these two doors on two continents – one at a monastery and the other at a palace. Can you guess which one goes where??

Happy weekend everyone!!

    • Thank you! It’s actually the other way around – it was a bit of a trick question πŸ˜‰ You can’t really tell by the photo angle, but the doors/gates in that top photo are massive! Whoever did that has my greatest compliments!
