Cee’s Black & White Photo Challenge: Corny Sculptures

Field of Corn, Dublin Ohio, black and white statue

This week’s topic is “sculptures, statues, carvings.” A couple of weeks ago while visiting my brother in Ohio, we happened upon this park full of giant corncobs in Dublin. It was the most random thing – so of course we had to stop! There are 109 cobs of corn in the field, all made from concrete and all (supposedly) unique. The art display, envisioned by Malcolm Cochran, is formally known as Field of Corn (with Osage Orange Trees) and was erected in a former corn field in 1994.
